Bad news, heroes of Albion. It looks like the highly anticipated Fable reboot from Playground Games might be slipping out of our grasp for a little longer. Recent reports suggest that the whimsical RPG has been internally delayed to 2026. While Xbox hasn't officially confirmed the pushback, insiders claim the studio needs extra time to polish the massive open world and nail that signature British humor. Though waiting hurts, giving the developers room to perfect this beloved franchise is definitely the right call. We'll just have to keep our swords sheathed until Microsoft drops an official release date update.
